The Bartolomeu Dias Museum Complex is home to the 500 year old Post Office Tree and a life-size replica of the Dias Caravel in the Maritime Museum. The upper level of the Shell Museum boasts a collection of shells collected from all over the world, while the lower level houses the “touch tank” and aquarium. The Ethno-Botanical Garden features plants that naturally occur in the Mossel Bay. It also incorporates a Braille trail where the visually-impaired can read, feel and smell the various plants.
